HT Energy is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to perform Oil Flushing of the complete hydraulic systems on board two newbuild sailing vessels, Hull C458 and Hull C460, constructed to PIRIOU design under the newbuilding programme of Ba Son Corporation.
This is a technically demanding project requiring full command of marine hydraulic system cleaning in accordance with international standards, ensuring that fluid cleanliness reaches the specified target class before the system is handed over for commissioning and operation.
Scope of Work:
- Flushing of the complete hydraulic piping network and power units on Hulls C458 and C460
- Use of TotalEnergies BIOHYDRAN SE 46 biodegradable hydraulic fluid (ester-based, readily biodegradable, ISO VG 46) — an environmentally responsible fluid well suited to marine applications operating on and near the water
- Fluid cleanliness control to NAS 1638 / ISO 4406, with particle sampling and analysis carried out until the target cleanliness class is achieved
- Preparation and handover of complete Test Pack / acceptance documentation to the Client
Project Duration: 15 days, within June.
