HT Energy Deploys Specialized N2He Leak Test Services for Block B – O Mon Project

Within the framework of the Block B – O Mon gas-to-power project, HT Energy has mobilized to the site to perform Nitrogen-Helium (N2He Leak Testing, a critical phase ensuring the absolute integrity and safety of equipment systems before official commissioning. As one of Vietnam’s largest and most significant energy developments, the Block B project demands the most stringent technical standards from operators and contractors alike. HT Energy is proud to be entrusted with the leak testing for two wellheads under Package 2 of the project. Successfully deploying at this national priority site reaffirms HT Energy’s reputation and its ability to meet complex technical requirements in a challenging oil and gas environment.

On-site, HT Energy’s engineering team is utilizing the N2He method, widely regarded as the “gold standard” in the petroleum industry for its extreme sensitivity and safety. Because Helium molecules are exceptionally small, this method allows for the detection of microscopic leaks that standard pressure tests might miss. Nitrogen N2He serves as a safe, inert carrier gas, while Helium He acts as a tracer, enabling specialized detectors to pinpoint leak locations with surgical precision. Executing these packages for Block B serves as a significant milestone for HT Energy as it scales its operations to become a leading technical service provider in Vietnam. The company remains committed to continuous technological investment and team development to prepare for even larger offshore campaigns in the future
