HT Energy Successfully Completes N2 Purging and Leaktest Scope for Rong Doi Field 2025 Annual Shutdown

Affirming its status as a premier oil and gas technical service provider, HT Energy recently completed the N2 Purging and Leaktest package for piping and pressure vessels at the Rong Doi field. This scope formed a vital part of the 2025 Annual Shutdown campaign conducted by the operator, Zarubezhneft. Located in Block 11-2 offshore Vietnam, the Rong Doi field serves as a critical gas and condensate hub. Maintaining such a facility during an annual shutdown demands strict adherence to technical standards and tight schedules, where precision is paramount to overall operational success. HT Energy’s engineers coordinated closely with all stakeholders to ensure seamless execution from October 10 to October 20, 2025, meeting the rigorous requirements set by the international operator.

The company was responsible for two key technical areas: Nitrogen (N2) Purging and Leaktesting. The purging process ensured the complete removal of hazardous gases, creating a 100% safe environment for internal maintenance activities. Following repairs, the leaktests utilized high-precision equipment to verify the integrity of the piping and vessels, ensuring the system was fully prepared for a safe start-up. By deploying specialized equipment and international-standard workflows, HT Energy successfully managed a high volume of work within a narrow timeframe, helping the operator minimize downtime and optimize operational costs.

Upon project completion, Zarubezhneft representatives commended HT Energy for its professional conduct, high safety discipline, and exceptional work efficiency. Most notably, the project was finished with zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI), showcasing the company’s management excellence. This success at Rong Doi reinforces HT Energy’s core values of safety, quality, and efficiency while contributing to the nation’s energy stability. Looking ahead, this milestone strengthens the confidence of major international partners in HT Energy’s specialized technical capabilities. The company remains committed to continuous investment in technology and human resources to meet the evolving and sophisticated demands of the global energy market.
